One command on a fresh AlmaLinux 9 server.

Choose Light or Full. Nothing is lost by choosing Light: every Full component has an install button on the panel's Services page afterwards.

1

Get a server

AlmaLinux 9, x86_64 or ARM64, from 1 vCPU and 2 GB RAM, with root or a sudo user. Best on a fresh install.

2

Get your key

Order the free license key at BiswasHost — or add it later.

3

Run one line

Pick Light or Full below and paste it into the server. At the end it prints a one-time token for setting the admin password in the browser.

One line, checked before it runs

Public beta

The command fetches the newest beta release from releases.bhpanel.net for your server's processor. Before anything runs it checks the release's signature against the BHPanel release key, the download's checksum, and every file in the archive — then starts the installer.

Light

Recommended

Everything needed to run WordPress and PHP sites.

From 1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM, 20 GB disk. Recommended: 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM.

  • Nginx + Apache (or OpenLiteSpeed)
  • One PHP version
  • MariaDB and phpMyAdmin
  • Mail with Roundcube webmail
  • DNS and FTP
  • Redis and Memcached
  • Firewall and malware scanners
Light install
curl -fsSL https://releases.bhpanel.net/install.sh | sudo BHP_LICENSE=YOUR-KEY bash -s -- --beta --light

Full

For servers that also host other languages and databases.

From 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 30 GB disk. Recommended: 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM.

  • Everything in Light
  • Every PHP version, 5.6 to 8.x
  • PostgreSQL
  • MongoDB
  • Node.js
Full install
curl -fsSL https://releases.bhpanel.net/install.sh | sudo BHP_LICENSE=YOUR-KEY bash -s -- --beta --full

Put your key in place of YOUR-KEY, or leave BHP_LICENSE=YOUR-KEY out and add the key later — the panel works fully for 14 days without one. As root, leave sudo out.

Not sure? Choose Light — you can add anything from Full later in Services. Want OpenLiteSpeed instead of Nginx + Apache? Add --stack=ols.

If it stops for disk quota

On some servers disk quota needs a reboot first. The installer says exactly what to do and never reboots on its own; after the reboot, run the same line again to finish.

Upgrading later

In the panel, Server › Update: choose a release channel, then Update Panel — or switch on automatic nightly updates. Every release is signed, and anything that stops working puts the previous version back.

Check where it stands

sudo bash /root/bhpanel-install/bhpanel-*/installer/bhpanel-install.sh status reports what is done and what is not, and changes nothing.
